How to use VT Collagen Reedle Shot 100 (50ml)

Apply this product during your evening skincare routine, after cleansing and toning.

Shake the bottle well.
Dispense a few drops of product into your hands.
Gently spread across skin and allow it to absorb.
Follow with the serum of your choice.

We recommend that you start using this product once every 3 days in the evening, and eventually build up to daily use. Until then, we advise that you do not combine it with any other Reedle Shot products in the same routine. Do not use this product in combination with a skincare device or after receiving a cosmetic procedure. If you have sensitive skin, we recommend doing a patch test prior to use.

Can I use it with an exfoliator?

Yes, but with care. VT advises that it works with most ingredients in theory, including acids, but it's best to avoid pairing it with strong AHA/BHA exfoliants in the same routine, particularly if your skin is sensitive. Alternating evenings works well, for example, this one night and your acid exfoliator the next, keeping the rest of your routine gentle and hydrating.

What is CicaReedle™ technology and how does it work?

CicaReedle™ is VT's patented at-home microneedling technology. The "reedles" are ultra-fine microneedles (spicules) made from purified hydrolysed sponge (mainly silica), coated with VT's Cica complex. They're 14 times smaller than pores and work only on the very top layer of skin (stratum corneum).

When applied, they:

Create tiny microchannels in the skin's surface
Physically exfoliate dead cells and pore impurities
Significantly boost how well active ingredients absorb afterwards

The result is a microneedling-style improvement to texture, brightness, pores and firmness, all in a serum you use at home.

Can I use it on the same night as my retinoid?

It's best not to use them together in the same routine. Reedle Shot boosts ingredient penetration and gently resurfaces, so combining it with a retinol or retinal on the same night raises the risk of irritation. Alternate them instead, for example, Reedle Shot one evening and your retinoid the next, and keep the rest of your routine soothing and hydrating on both nights.
