MEDICUBE Zero Pore One-day Serum (30ml)

There are three types of exfoliating acid in this serum:

• AHA (glycolic acid and lactic acid): work on the skin's surface to dissolve dead cells, smooth texture, brighten dullness, and help fade marks
• BHA (salicylic acid): oil-soluble, so it gets into pores to clear out excess sebum and debris, which helps with blackheads, whiteheads, and breakouts
• PHA (gluconolactone): the gentlest of the three, exfoliates while drawing in moisture to refine texture and improve radiance

Niacinamide is one of the star ingredients here, and it works on a few fronts:

• Pore appearance: Helps pores look smaller and more refined over time.
• Oil control: Regulates sebum production, so great if you're prone to shine or congestion.
• Brightening: Helps fade dark spots and post-acne marks while boosting overall radiance.
• Barrier support: Contributes to a smoother, stronger, more even-looking skin surface.

The formula includes three soothing ingredients to keep skin calm while the exfoliating acids do their work:

• Centella Asiatica, a plant extract known for calming redness and irritation
• Madecassoside, an active compound derived from Centella
• Allantoin, which helps soothe and comfort the skin

Yes, but take it slowly. The serum contains AHA, BHA, and PHA (a mix of exfoliating acids), which can be irritating if your skin isn't used to them.

• Patch test first, behind your ear or along your jawline
• Start with 1 to 2 evenings per week
• Avoid layering it with other exfoliants or retinoids

PM use only, as the acids (AHA/BHA/PHA) increase sun sensitivity.

Start 2 to 3 evenings a week and build up gradually. Apply SPF every morning while using it, and avoid pairing with retinol or other acid exfoliants in the same routine.

Evening is best. It contains AHA, BHA, and PHA, which can increase sun sensitivity, so it fits better into a PM routine. Apply after cleansing (and toner if you use one), then follow with moisturiser. If you do use it in the morning, make sure you're wearing SPF.
