Feels great, gentle product (for me!)

32 year old male, combination skin but on the dryer side. I started using this product a few months ago, beginning with 2-3x per week and ramping up after 2 weeks to every night.

As the other reviews have mentioned I have had 0 issues with any initial skin shock. I use it before bed and many places recommend applying a light moisturiser after retinol application but I actually found that this product is gentle and moisturising enough that I don't need that.
After 3 months of usage my skin is clearer and brighter and I hope it will only continue to improve, and with the timelines that retinol works over I will not be surprised if that's the case.

Remember it's important you slowly ramp up usage as retinol can be an irritant for many people and your skin should get used to the product via exposure. And a high SPF sunscreen is non-negotiable (: Retinol can affect everyone differently!

I didn't know how to use it

This purchase is me trying on retinol for the first time, and feeling so relieved it did not irritate my skin whatsoever. That's a good point, what's even better if you wanna see results, is to put on your retinol cream way before going to bed, I'm talking minimum two hours before, otherwise, you're treating your pillow, not your skin. It made a big difference for me when I understood that, enjoy.

Good product

Love the feeling of this on my skin, naturally with retinol you won’t notice a difference for a little while but it’s one of the few retinols where I don’t break out.

One issue is the design of the bottle. Naturally you have to place it upside down but when you go to open it product tends to spill out slightly.
